About Justice League Recovery Fund
40 POUNDS OF JUSTICE LOST.
In December 2025, the dog in the first photo was known as Justice League. He was a healthy, 67-pound vibrant soul at LMAS. He was adopted into a home in January.
This week, he was found weighing only 27 pounds.
In just over 60 days, Justice League lost 60% of his body mass and measured 2/9 on the starvation body scale. He is a skeletal shadow of the dog who left the shelter. This isn't just a medical crisis; it is a Tier 1 case of extreme neglect.
The Medical Battle: Justice League is now under the elite care of our veterinary partners. Starvation at this level is a biological minefield. We are currently monitoring him for Re-Feeding Syndrome, a life-threatening condition where the body’s chemistry crashes when it finally receives food. He requires 24/7 monitoring, specialized high-frequency bloodwork, and a strict, eating recovery plan.
The Pursuit of Justice: Because Justice League has a documented history and a healthy baseline of 67 lbs from just weeks ago, we have a clear "paper trail" for authorities. The Arrow Fund has already initiated contact with Law Enforcement. We are providing the full medical documentation and photographic evidence they need to hold those responsible accountable.
